RFP Question and Answer

Question: Why are there no set zones on the RFP for scrap tire collections and how do I handle this on the Bidder Form (Appendix E)?

Answer: The zones were deliberately left open on the RFP. The reason for this is we want to allow the bidder to decide what zones are most efficient for them based on their specific equipment and capabilities. Some companies may wish to only bid on a specific zone or region while others may wish to bid on the entire province. We don’t want a blended rate for the entire province on the Bid Form but again we leave it up to the bidder to suggest what is most efficient for them (zones) based on the equipment and capabilities at their disposal.

Question: Is it possible to extend beyond the December 1st deadline to allow extra time ?

Answer: Recycle NB will allow an extension for all participants until December 6th to submit their bid.  If you have already submitted your bid and wish to use the additional time to improve your submission, you may resubmit it within the deadline as well.  No further extensions will be given beyond this date.
