More than 700,000 new car tires and 70,000 truck tires are sold and installed in New Brunswick each year.
The Tire Stewardship Program’s collection system operates year round to pick up tires from retail outlets across the province.
The pick up schedules vary from retailer to retailer. Pick up depends on the number of new tires a retailer sells each month and storage availability for scrap tires.
