REGULATION 2008-54 under the Clean Environment Act identifies packaging and paper products as designated materials in New Brunswick. The Regulation states that no brand owner shall sell, offer for sale or distribute packaging or paper to a person in the province unless they are registered with the Board of Recycle NB. Brand owners are therefore required to register with Recycle NB.
