REGULATION 2008-54 under the Clean Environment Act identifies paint as a designated material in New Brunswick. The Regulation states that no brand owner shall sell, offer for sale or distribute paint to a person in the province unless they hold a valid registration. Brand owners are therefore required to register with Recycle NB.
